Finance Council

Parish finance council

A small number of parishioners are appointed by the parish priest to council him on matters concerning the parish finances. The council is required to meet twice a year, at the beginning of the year to set the yearly budget, and towards the end of the year to accept the accounts. The council also meets to discuss other matters of finance as is required.
The Parish has a Treasurer appointed by the Parish Priest who, in addition to the Finance Council, advises both the Parish Priest and the Finance Council on matters concerning the finance of the parish.
